Retro should be popular again by then... or is it "retro-retro"... or "re-retro"?... "retro redux" maybe?... I'll shut up now.

Naaah, you'll probably still be driving it and your son will have to get his own car.

Mine is an Early Edition too and I kept her pretty well stock except for a few items I can easily reverse.
Will I keep her? Will do my best to do so.

While on the same subject..What is the built date of your Cruiser/ Who's got the EARLIEST one here?
I know Rachael's was built in March of 2000 (pretty sure).
Mine was built in May of 2000
April 2000.

My original Cranberry base PT was purchased 4-1-00 and was made (I believe) 3-08-00. I do not know where it is now-I traded it for the Cranberry limited. I do still have the window sticker.....

I have an O2 LE and I decided long ago that I was going to keep this one forever! When I have the need to get a new car, I'll undoubtedly by a new PT and keep this one out of the elements and keep it as new as possible. I love my '02.

I see that Marc asked about build dates. Ours was built on 3-9-00. I bought it on March 27, 2000 right off the truck. It was apparently one of the earliest out for public sale. I guess quite a few were out there in rental fleets in Florida earlier than that, but I haven't heard of any of their build dates being posted here in the past. Those who did not have one of the earliest probably can't imagine the attraction they caused way back then, it was really sort of fun. You could not park anywhere without gathering a crowd. Anytime you came out of a store you would find people waiting around it when you got there. Usually it took an extra 20 minutes or so to get home from any little trip. I felt like chrysler should have put me on the payroll back then, I spent more time selling cars for them than most salesmen did. We still enjoy ours, but it seems like most newer owners around here just treat theirs like any ordinary car - use it and abuse it. I still can't do that to our pt yet.
