After 111,000kms, 2 minor accidents and 1 major speeding ticket its time to say goodbye to my 2001 Cruiser. I am trading in my unique 2001 PT Cruiser(born on Hallowe'en night 2000) on a new 2004 180 PT Cruiser(lets see if I can top that previous speeding ticket) Keeping with Bright Silver-easiest to keep clean-going with cloth now instead of leather plus adding a hole in the roof(sunroof). Now let the NEW MODS Begin!

My 01 Classic Edition was built in Nov 00 and delivered Dec 00. She has 65,000 miles and is still just as beautiful as the day I brought her home. She's paid for and there's still 35,000 miles left on the warranty. I like the new convertible but I don't think I'd like the car payment. I'll keep my 01 forever but I may get a second car to use as my daily driver.... maybe a used PT.

My early 01 Aqua (DOB June 2, 2000) only has 37K miles on it, almost as rattle free as the day I bought it. Kept my last car 15 years, so expect to have this one a while, too. Will probably have a second one a week from now--sorry, Padre, but I'm going to win the grand prize at Cruisermania!

Very tempted at times to move into something else, Mini, Mazda 3, etc but....

2001 PT Cruiser Limited Edition, Pure Stock, 79,600 Miles, I plan on keeping forever, That was the plan when I bought her. I lost my job and have had to work all over the country for the last 2 years so she has way more miles on her than I ever thought at this 3 year mark but no one has ever smoked or eaten in her so she still smells brand new inside and the outside is still perfect. So I have no reason to sell or trade her, maye once she is paid off I will get something else but for now she is still my baby.

Still have my 01 Taupe (early edition) and plan on keeping for a long time. I just turned 40,000 miles. I have had no major problems other that "bambi" coming to check it out!! My youngest son has put his dibs on it when he turns 16 next year.

I'm planning on keeping mine forever! But my wife complains that I never get rid of anything! I still have my first car I ever owned.('64 Malibu SS)

Ours was built July of 2000. We plan on keeping ours. Almost 50,000 miles, and we still enjoy it.

I drive it 50 miles a day to and from work.
