Question Rear seat cover recommendations?

Hi All,

I started a thread about dog hair removal tips (lint roller, vacuum and damp paper towel for the leather seats lead the answers), but another issue came up: putting a seatcover on the rear bench seat.

My last car was a RAV4 and I got two faux sheepskin seat covers for the twin rear seats. My Australian Shepherd (Sam) loved them. Soft, comfy and probably some genetic memory about herding involved. Now that I'm a veteran 72-hour PT owner (okay, lessor), I'd like to get a good pet seat cover for the back. Any recommendations on what to get and where to get it? As always, thanks in advance.

d.

I am concidering them as well, as we are about to have our second kid. The only rear ones i know of are at Moss motors for $169. This is the front but you can see how it is made....

Hey Mark1,

Thanks for the reply and photo. Do you have any contact info for Moss Motors? (www.mossmotors.com is a distributer for British auto parts...)

Thanks again.

The eas est thing to do is just remove the rear seats . you don't need them ,if you have them you will use them. Go to a fabric shop ,you can buy any material that you want by the yard. It's a lot cheaper and you can do it your way.

Try the neoprene seat covers...they're easy to clean and I would think they wouldn't keep the wet dog smell as sheepskin covers would.

I think the web site that has the better quality (not cheap) is www.wetokole.com.

Take out the back seats and put in a dog house. You might even win a tail gate prize at a Cruiser event.

Especially if Sam can open a beer bottle with his teeth.
