Default Gas for Turbo

It's recommended to run 'PLUS' gas vs regular or premium correct?

Or did I just imagine this and can run regular?

I also think it says right on the gas cap or in that general vacinity.....Premium Fuel Only. I would not chance anything other than high test.

Actually, I looked in my owner's manual. For the 2.4L it said 87 was necessariy and running higher might actually decrease performance

It depends if you have the 220hp turbo or the 180hp turbo-lite.

Right, for an intercooled high-boost turbo, you need to run premium gas all the time to prevent detonation.
