I guess it changes. Anyway, go to the Search link above and type in Tape Marks. http://ptenthusiasts.org/PTForums/se...searchid=36247 |

Being too lazy to go back & read the threads...can anyone tell me if they are replacing them once you're outside the 36K /3 yr. standard warranty
( at least on my early '01). I have an extended to 7 yr/ 100K , but that doesn't cover paint, etc... Just curious. My tape marks are showing up pretty bad now. Back to Black will keep them 95% hidden for about 1 day, then they are back in force... ( I was hoping for replacements with GREY bumpers , not painted.)

I got mine replaced! PT is 3 1/2 yrs, 37K miles and brand new original bumpers. Call/email Chrysler to get them to make your dealer do it! That's what I did!

Hi I'm new to the forum. I have the same trouble. I even showed a picture of a PT with these marks that the dealer was selling on his used car lot with same marking, The meat head still claims it's not a factory defect. That he doesn't have authority to replace them. I know a couple of other people in our area with same problem. I wrote CD and they just told me the manager said bla bla not defect. Of course he would. Now I'm spiting mad. Anyone have a number e-mailing them an't geting it. Their has got to be a way to deal with meat head.
thanks for help, replies appericated. ![]() |

I had my bumpers covers replaced during the timeframe that Chrysler did not have a repair procedure, I'm told (by my dealer) that they now have a repair procedure and that they are NOT replacing the covers but are repainting the Grey area on existing bumper covers.
