The Reese one requires a drilled-hole, for a third nut/bolt on each side. Personally, I liked that extra bolt idea best.

Both hitches came with removeable DRAW BARS so they could be removed and the resulting RECEIVER BLOCK covered with a plastic cover, or third brake lite, or whatever cover you want.

I wrote those instructions that are on the ptdit.net site. If anything is not clear, just ask.

ptdiy.net and I MAY do another do-it-yourself clinic at CTF4, perhaps we could do a hitch install.

Pics? Sure- click here.

P.S. registration is now open, 223 PTs are IN THE HOUSE after 4 days.

Thanks - great info. All these instruction came with the hitch also?

Not really. For the Hidden brand, the instructions (aka, destructions) are a little vague when it comes to the washer/bolt insertion. The trick is to do ONE AT A TIME. You'll see what I mean if you get that brand.

Good luck. Don't forget you can always SPICE up the draw bar by doing this: (its a 1:24 PT Model)

So there's a "hitch" in the instructions, eh?

ba-dum!

Don't forget your balls- either 1 7/8" or 2"

Once more thing, IF you go with the Hidden Hitch brand, the Uncle Booger's BUMPER DUMPER will fit the receiver!

Perhaps a door prize this year???

Gee, I dunno. It might be considered another mod.
