Question Dreamcruiser series 3

I was fortunate enough to just purchase a dream 3. Question if anyone knows? Did they stop with the serialized dash plaque? Supposedly only 1200 to be built, much less then dream 1 2, but have found no info on the plaque, other than 1 and 2 had them and this don't. . .

I don't know if the 3 car has emblems from the factory or not, but if you want to see one.....go to ebay nbr 2458579812 " Mopar NOS Dream Series 3 emblem" for sale.

First, congrats on the Dream 3.

This year they are not doing the dash plaque, but instead they have "Vehicle I.D. number-Reserved, sequenced-exclusive to Dream Cruiser Series 3" (from Chrysler website).

This is the first that I have heard about only 1200; until now the number that Chrysler had been quoting was 7500. They quoted 7500 with series 1, but according to DC, they only built 5006. With the DCS2, they initially said 7500, but reduced that number to 4000 on the web site before the first one hit the street. It is possible that they dropped the number to 1200 for this year, but I'd be surprised.

from what i have heard the Dream Cruiser II was to be 4000 BUT since the released the Dream Cruiser III so early I am sure the numbers of II will be far less then the 4000 the talked about .... I look at most boards and i have never seen anyone with a Badge # higher then the high 2800 I wonder how someone could find out for sure ?

Congrats on purchasing the DC III and welcome to PTE. Pics would be appreciated. Do you have the auto tranny or the Getrag 5-speed?

Welcome to PTE and congrats on your PT purchase!! Make yourself comfortable. The keg is cold and the pretzels are fresh. One important rule around here. We need pics!!! You must post pics of your PT, especially after some modifying extravaganza.

Best of luck.

Dan

Yup, that is correct! There is _no_ dash plaque, only the "reserved VIN" like Dave said. Mine's #529.

Manual or Autostick?

Mine is #157 and is an auto-stick. I heard that DC had lowered the build number to 2,000 DC3s. 1,200 is even better...

And I added custom duals
