Nice ride! I'd really like to get one but for that price I could buy 3 base PTs.
SSR Starting at $41,995* Limited availability. Part roadster. Part pickup. All jaw-dropping inspiration. It's the new Chevy SSR — a vehicle that transforms from a fully-enclosed roadster to convertible in less than 30 seconds. Standard features include an aluminum-block Vortec 5300 V8 engine with 300 horsepower, ZQ8 Sport Suspension with a five-link layout for the rear and four-wheel disc brakes with ABS. Chevy SSR. Arriving at your Chevrolet dealership in a limited-production quantities

The SSR definately stands out in a crowd. I saw my first one on Sunday at the SJ Auto Show. It's another love/hate design with little middle ground, either you get it or you don't. Weather it's worth 2 PT's depends on how many people you like to bring along.
Cheers! Dad/\/\an |

Saw my first on the road SSR in our parking lot here at work. Definitely a hot ride! Hope they take care of your hood riser.
I'm here in Maryland and we get to Va. Beach every so often. Can you tell me if the Lynnhaven Seafood House still exists? Had one of the best meals of my life (and best views) at that restuarant! Good Luck with the SSR. Pat

In regards to the Dodge SRT/10 w/viper engine, I would not even consider that one. That is the type of vehicle for those who pretty much want power alone. Aesthetically, it looks just like every other dodge truck, except for the 22" tires! The wow factor on the SSR is what attracted me as well as the convertible hardtop; first of its kind to stow away in a waterfall fashion. Now that is pretty cool.
