Question Many miles on my PT

While on my way to work today, the milage hit 70000 on my 2001 touring. It's still got 2 of the original Goodyears(rears) and just had front brakes only at 68875 miles. Anything odd that I should look for at this point? Never had anything go wrong on this and don't want to start now. Thanks

Many, that's great! You've had many miles of smiles and very little to go wrong. I wish you many more.

I'm at 113,000 miles now. If you have the automatic, make sure it is being serviced regularly. Mine was rebuilt at 98,000 miles and the transmission computer was also replaced. Otherwise, just normal maintenance and MODS!!!!

I'm at 66,000 + and Padre said what I was going to - be sure and have transmission fluid changed.

WOW! Great distances in this thread- 100K for Padre- wowzers!!

MX-5 just posted that the plugs should be done so that the metal threads don't seize into the aluminum heads (35,000 miles I think is what he posted).

Not sure what to watch for but be sure to at least CHECK the spare tire for pressure at least. Spare tires are usually forgotten about, UNTIL they are needed.!!

Cheers

Alright, who has a link to an audio file of Neil Young's "Long May You Run"?... Reading these posts brought this song to mind and now I can't get it out of my head!
