First of all, the Tarantulas do not spin webs, therefore their legs are NOT Sticky. They climb up and down objects by using Two retractable claws at the end of their legs.

This lady said that the second Tarantula had crawled a quarter of the way down her windshield.

We all know that the PT Windshield or any car's windshield is fairly steep, and even with two claws on each of its eight legs, I don't think a Turantula would be able to "crawl on a almost vertical face).

Story is hard to believe !!!
