Default Shades on, cant see the guages!!!!!!

ANyone manage a fix for being able to read the guages when wearing sunglasses? That deep inset sure shades the instruments, no pun intended. Here in Meeeechigan, sun in summer (sometimes) and snow reflection in winter (most of the time) Its a pain in the sitz bonz.
Nebber seed any komments on that......

TIA

Maybe sunglasses are too dark. There are different amounts of shading that can be put on sunglasses, especially prescription sunglasses. I've been in the optical business for 28 years and have found some people can't wear really dark lenses. If glare is a problem, make sure the lenses are polarized. The polarized filter will cut nearly 100% of glare.

Lars you could always go to the mode just before full interior lights on it's as bright as it gets inside !

You didn't mention whether you're a "click and pull" driver....that is, do you use your fogs/headlights during the day? If so, this makes the gauge illumination during the daytime worse...even increasing the backlight illumination as suggest above, usually doesn't help around sunset. So, either turn them off...or get lighter shades!
