Default Remember PTCruzrless??

That used to be my username way back in 2000 before I got my PT.
Well, that's who I am once again.

The family and I decided to go to Sonic tonight for a quick burger. We pulled into the lot, got 1/2 way into a parking spot and my PT's transmission died.... completely. It wouldn't go forward or reverse. There we sat for an hour while we waited for Chrysler's 24 Hour Roadside Assistance to send a tow truck. While we waited, Terandak (Randy & Theresa) showed up with their PT to hang out with us and drive us home after the tow truck hauled my poor baby away on a flat bed. It sure was a sad sight seeing my poor car being carried away.
Good thing I bought that extended warranty.

Thanks for taking us home Randy, you always come through for us.

No forward OR reverse? Was it a linkage? Usually, transmissions, when they die gracefully, give you a LIMP MODE- second gear ONLY so that you can make it home. Sad news.

Are you sure that whatever the problem is, IS covered by the ext. warranty??

In 2001, DC Canada extended the driver-train warranty to 5/115000 kms, it is not a bumper-to-bumper, but would cover most tranny failures.

Watch those neons!
