We need to give the owner a purple heart or something. That poor cruiser was burnt to a crisp.

Like the U.S. Navy ships, some things are too valuable not to evacuate.

I saw it posted here on PTE yesterday morning... with our time difference... I was able to turn on my television and saw the horrible images of the burning PT on the NBC Today Show...

Terrible site... I feel sorry for their family and owners....

Glad to hear everyone here is okay...

More importantly the 23 people who are dead now because of Isabel.

I may get bashed for this, but who cares...I was a lot more worried about my life, my family, and my dog than I was about my Cruiser.

Good point spdracr...

I assume most were sad to see the footage of the PT burning since no one was injured or killed in that incident...

But we should all remember those who lost their lives during Hurricane Isabelle... Human life IS much more important than a PT Cruiser...

Exactly!

Insurance can replace the car, but not the people or the lives that are forever changed.
