Default London 2 Paris- FINAL UPDATE

Guess its okay to post events info here....

Been busy getting the kids into girls hockey, coaching TWO teams, playing, and making plaques for the L2P event!! Sleep when I'm dead I tell you. (ever wonder what it costs to put 2 girls into hockey? Read here. .

There are 68 PTs signed up, 2 have dropped out due to work/travel. (total is 68 with those 2 out, target was 50!!

150+ people are scheduled to appear. The most popular afternoon event is the Cruise to Paris, and the Wine Tour will be the $5 one based on popular vote. (all details are under the REGISTRANTS link on the website).

Weather update: there is weather link (to wunderground.com) on the homepage, RAIN is 100% for Friday. 30% Saturday. Cool Sat eveing, so pack a wind-breaker.

The dinner menu is now OFFICIAL and published , again, check the BUFFET DINNER MENU link. 120 reservations are made, $16 Cdn each, plus 15% tax, kids are $10. PLEASE CONFIRM your dinner count (as per the email that I sent, and as per the REGISTRANTS page) so I have accurate head-counts.

MAP- there has been a change to the LOCAL MAP . Sharm has spent (past participal of spend) a great deal of time mapping the route to avoid construction. Please have a look at the NEW MAP link, and print a copy. The written directions to dinner are on the map, and to the corn maze, from dinner. The winery directions MAY change due to severe road work up one road, that map will be printed and avaialbel at the site. Also new on the map is the KK location, Dean will lead people there if they want to go on Sat afternoon for FREE samples and to see the KK Cruiser. Paris- ?? Take Hwy 401, follow the signs.

NOTE- we now have the LOWER GARDENS at the Golf Park, thanks to GOLDMEMBER (who we need to pass the hat around for, to get him his $185 back). Drive past the upper gardens, left of the driving range, down the small incline, we will be there.

KITTY has donated a couple DOOR PRIZES for raffle, help to raise some $$, I'll bring the tickets. I also made 5 plaques- Furthest, Founder's Choice, Glow Show, Remote Race, Kid's Choice, for hand out. Not sure when/where, but they will be handed out to someone. There are NO HATS or T SHIRTS for sale, by anyone.

Toronto crew- see you Sat morn (unless the hockey camp runs late), FRS channel 5.

Email me with any Q's, I'll be offline all week (untill hockey school is over).

Happy to hear that there will be so many cruisers going! I can't wait to see everyone and I have a special mod or two to debut. I'm not posting pics yet, so you have to go to the Cruise to see them. See everyone on Saturday (if I can get across the border) . Passport just expired.

All yah need is a BIRTH CERTIFICATE and a PHOTO ID (driver's licence, military ID). Passports are NOT required.

Matt- no bands. No ribs either, or hats, or T shirts, or blankies. Actually, I may make ribs and reheat them there. Pork or beef?

Thanks Lar- appreciate this!!

P.S. if you get there BEFORE us, its the LOWER GARDENS. Go past where we were last year, down a small incline, and park down near the baseball diamond. He said there was a electrical outlet down there too, might need the battery charger. (or stereo)
