Hmm 283 HP with a 6 Speed. Very tempting
No way! Go back to that Dodge dealer and do some dickering. Some guys I know have gotten a new Ram HEMI 1500 with the short bed and regular cab for $16,000 and change.

Tempting but not as easy on the eyes. Something about the fender bulges and the rear door lines make the RX8 look a little out of porportion. I guess you don't see those things when you're rocketing down the road.

Life's a cruise...

Seriously, I know you can get pickups all decked out these days, but to spend $27-30K (the RX-8 price range) is a bit much (unless, that is, you really want a big pickup with the works )

You gotta remember, that if you get rid of your PT and get a pickup, you won't get those admiring glances and nice comments, like when your driving a Cruiser...and have all the fun people to hang out with on the PT forums!!

Hey, do what I did. Keep the PT and get a truck, too. I heartily recommend the new Ram with the HEMI engine.

Can't forget about those huge 20's too on the ram!!

You think it's expensive for you guys (and gals) in the US...Well here in the UK we have virtually nothing and have to get most items shipped from US and that can add a WHOPPING 33% to the prices quoted after adding shipping/taxes and duty.
