Default Altezza tail lights and bulbs ?? Replacement?

Does anyone know if the Gen 2 Altezza tail lights for the PT Cruiser come with bulbs?

Do the stock lights just come right off after removing the one screw on the bottom, and then after reattaching the connection, do the Altezza's just pop back in the same way ?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

No new bulbs.

The stock lights (bulbs PLUS socket) just twist into the existing holes/flanges on the new taillights.

The OEM come out with that one screw, there are clips up on top, that are friction fit. Just giggle the assembly a bit. The new ones MAY NO fit properly! My Gen 3 did not. Get some dbl sided tape before you start. I had to use 2, 2" pieces to make mine fit tight.

Good luck!

Got them from Race and Street last April in Cleveland. They have BLACK gaskets AND small "snorkle" vent holes on the back, for heat I guess. They still discoloured due to heat, around the brake light bulb housing.

I run LED's in mine to keep the heat down. Heard to many horror stories where people had them melt with OEM bulbs.

Don't the lights HYPE FLASH with the LED (3157 replacement) in??? The LEDs draw less current and the mechanical flasher charges FASTER hence the rapid flash.
