Side door colllision reinforcing
Anyone have the DC skinny on what is required for door reinforcing, and/or why its there in the first place? And any X ref to the applicable NHSTA standard????

I hope that 1 1/4" dia pipe about 4" up from the bottom of the front door is not the door beam. Cause the stiffness of the rocker panel is right there too......
