I can't complain-I only pay around $400 for 2 vehicles with full coverage. I believe it costs around $225 to insure the PT Dreamer with full coverage every 6 months.

My insurance went up here in MA (as it does every year) & from what I'm paying, it's NOT one of the cheapest

Because much more goes into making up your insurance premium than the car you drive. Its where you live, your age, your driving record, your credit history. Whether or not you have multi policies and there are a plethora of other things that can affect the premium.
The article should say "On average" these are the cheapest to insure.

I traded in a Dodge Dakota Quad Cab for my GT PT and my insurance went up $30/month.

This is a bunch of usless crap. Patpur is correct, there are many values that determine your insurance premium. I went to the cookie happy Edmunds.com, the source of the article, and I could not find their source. All I could find is their insurance calculator. Please tell me they didnt build an article around the insurance calculator. And who is this lady?? Her bio says she has a "graduate of the certified financial planner training program at University of California." Has anyone heard of this degree? It sounds like a mail order degree to me.

Sorry, I dont buy it. Its a bunch of useless crap.
