and God willing, we'll never have to.

I always have a can of fix-a-flat in the back. If I should get a flat there's places I'd rather not be changing a tire, if at all possible at least the can should get me somewhere safer.

Space/ weight. Then again, if you are loaded, and have to put ON the spare, where do you put the flat tire/wheel!! INSIDE TEH PT of course.

Using the TIRE SEALER stuff is okay for a flat, but remember to get that stuff OUT (and the hole repaired of course) soon after. The "gunk" will settle and upset the balance something fierce leading to wobble and uneven wear.

Would putting TIRE SEALER in the OEM spare be considered a CREAM FILLED DONUT ????

Yeah but it wouldn't be tasty!!!
If you do use fix a flat TELL the guy who fixes the tire about it the stuff could splash and would NOT be good for the eyes!

Oh Great .... leave it to an engineer to give you one more thing to lay awake at night and worry about .... If anyone needs me, I'll be crawling around under my PT looking for the valve stem on my donut spare ....
