Very nice. Congratulations on the install.

So now you won't get lost on the way to the store, huh?

Ya Ya YA! That's very cool. I love how it seamlessly integrates with the area. I just hope it doesn't look too aftermarket for some punk that decides they want it, too.

Does this unit play DVD Audio discs, or burned DVD's with audio?

Nope, it doesnt play DVD Audio. If some punkass decides he wants to steal it, he will have a tough time selling it with my name and other info etched on all of the interior panels.

I received a PM from a shy lurker who was looking for some info on that red button...

Good Day
I don't post much, but I lurk here alot. I have been looking for a large button, e-x-a-c-t-l-y like the one I see on your navigation pic, to mount on my lower dash, e-x-a-c-t-l-y like yours.

Now we all know that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so I am hoping you will let me in on where you got that button. I want to use it for my horn, but cannot find anything around here.

Your specific informative reply will be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

Not a problem!!! Actually, that button is a missile launcher so I can take out other drivers when they piss me off. The nav system doubles as a missile guidance system.

Seriously tho... I got the button from a local electronics supply house, Tri-State Electronics . Their website is http://www.tselectronic.com/. You should give them a call. Tell them that you need a 1 inch normally off momantary pushbutton.

Best of luck!!

Dan

NAH!!! Dont worry about it. Half of the threads around here venture into strange territories (Dori, how's your beaver doing?). Just remember to post and post often.

Another small annoyance with the system. It can be hard to read the display with polarized sunglasses on. I wish they would have used an OLED screen, but that tech is a bit too new.
