I know there have been several threads dealing with the location of engine block plugs suitable for oil pressure sensor, most recently this one
Has anyone removed one of these? What fitting is it? (does it even have a fitting?) (The plug in question which I'd like to remove is the one on the airbox side of the block, towards the back, in between the two heater hoses) It looks like it could take one of those Torx type fittings, but its pretty ill defined. Every thing else is all ready installed for the new 3 pod gauge, except this final hookup.....so close, yet so far! ![]() |

I think you may be able to get it out with an allen wrench , Race & Street used a modified 1/4 " drive extension to remove mine . I didn't think they were torqued in very much as it spun out raher easily.
