Like the tearing paint effect to reveal metal and rivets, but the paintball effect is a no-no.

I guess that all depends on the theme of the car. The guy on the side shooting the paintball gun makes the paint splatters make sense. Being a huge paintbal player and fan, I really like the look they've got going there.
