Good point and good post. We should remember that Magic designed the PROH originally for the stock steel hood and the normally aspirated Cruisers. The differing layout of the turbo engine, the differences in aftermarket hoods, all these came later and Magic has done a great job making the necessary adjustments to his original design. Heck, compare his quality and his responsiveness to so-called "professional" outfits like the late, unlamented Rapidcrap or California Cruisers. No contest.
