Default Warranty Gold

I've just learned that Warranty Gold contracts issued before 1 July 03 may be worthless. Presently, they will not authorize payment for repairs. If you have one of these contracts, you should contact Waranty Gold for details.

I'm happy with my Chrysler warranty.

That is why the only warranty that is worth buying is the Chrysler plan. If you try to save a buck this is what happens. I have seen dozens of the companies come and go in the 20 years I spent as a service manager

Thanks for the information. I just cancelled my warranty gold
service plan. I only made two installments. I guess I will
go with the Chrysler Plan. This could happen to any of the
other warranty companies. There was a lot of Dealers selling
those plans. What a mess.

I didn't even get the Chrysler extended plan. I've never kept a car over 70,000. LOVE my PT, but will probably trade her in by then for another!

I had the same thought - but, the extended warranties cover so much more - like AC, master cylinders, suspension parts, etc.

I looked up the cost of the chrysler extensded - over $2000.00 bvs the after market ones for $750 or s0 .... what to do...
