Funny story.....I had set them out in the sun for the clear to dry....and a bird #### on them.....I had to strip and re finish them...

Just my luck..always getting #### on

Got them today minus the bird crap. They match the pedals and fit the inner pattern on the door perfectly. I haven't attached them yet but don't see a problem with that.

I got some center wheel 'GT' logos from Wyckoff a few weeks ago and they send 5. I put on these and it looks pretty cool I think and it fits just about perfect. But I need one more if I decide to keep it on there.

What do you guys think?

After seeing the door inserts, you know what I'm wondering?
Can you make inserts for the center area between the seats? (a la cupholders, penholders, etc.)
I'd really like some of those............

Sean,

You could attach you GT logo and then shoot another coat of clear over it, thus locking it on there for life and protecting it from any arm wear.

I wondered about that. What kind of clear coat do I need?

I'm not sure if I'm going to stick with the GT or not. I may look at some colored flames or maybe a combination of the 2.

I did take a look today in my neighbors 01.....I did not see any thing that looked make-able in my garage with the thick aluminum I use..Keep in mind..this is all done by hand....my hands. If you are talking a one piece type of deal..I can not do it..Sorry

Finally got these installed. I used some simple 2 way tape so I wouldn't damage the door if I need to remove them. The fit the trim perfect and really work with the custom pedals.
