i wish dc would offer a "high output" turbo without all the bells and whistles...some folks might just want the body and the speed (like me).....i mean if they can make and sell that turbo neon for under 20 they should be able to do something similar for the cruiser....either way im happy (but slow) with my 02 base cruiser but i'm waiting for the covert. to come out (hopefully they'll drop the turbo in it for a decent price) before i satisfy my need for speed.

Looks like i am not alone
. I guess time will tell the tale. The only problem i think i would have buying a used GT is that there are so few 5 speeds. I have been bending the ear of the sales mgr at the dealer my brother works at. He and my brother will make sure DC hears this kind of feedback. May or may not help, but it sure can't hurt. In the meantime, i will drive my grand caravan and my 01 PT. ![]()

It'll be interesting to see the price reductions (if any) on the GT's once October rolls around. Dealers usually really cut the prices on the current year models to make way for the onslaught of next year vehicles. As far as DC still trying to focus sales at the youth market, they're wasting thier time..turbo or not. Younger people in general (not ALL younger people) just are NOT interested in the PT. I've actually had teens and younger 20-somethings laugh at my PT. The market for the PT is 35 and up..so they should just get used to it. We're the ones with the money, too..they should listen to what we have to say and what we want..they'd probably sell a few more PT's that way.

I think you are right 2-tone. Althouigh there are a few younger people who are PT enthisiasts, the majority do not like it. They are the ones buying the Hon-duh's and stranglely enough, pick-up trucks. But there are still plenty of us 'old farts' who like their vehicle to have some "stones"
