Well to set things right I contacted the seller, photographer and magazine that organized it.

This is the response from Rolling Stone Magazine

This is really Elton John.
We partnered with his charity, the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
He was photographed on May 30th in New York.
Rolling Stone & Sirius representatives were on site for the signing.

That's him! I JUST watched an Entertainment Tonight story that had some footage of him with that new Science-Center-Static-Ball wig!

I knew he had fake hair but why would he get fake boobs?
Maybe that's why he's sporting a track suit..to lose those extra pounds
