Default Rocks 4...windshield -1

Well during my latest road trip the Cruiser suffered yet another windshield nick. I had a rock hit the windshield at 90 miles, not even had the car a week. I had the windshield replaced thinking it was a one off event. In this second windshield I am up to 3 'stars' and some massive nicks. Wondering if I should bother getting this one replaced or just go til it cracks apart.

I feel for you I've replaced a windshield.

I've got 3-4 chips on my windshield. I know if I get it replaced, the new one will eventually get chipped too. I'm just gonna wait awhile.

I don't know which is worst; the fragile/thin paint or the thin/fragile glass. I have 3 little stars in windshield. I
give Chrysler no stars for either...

Already replaced the windshield on my GT. Took a rock the size of a golf ball.

I feel your pain! I've already had the windshield replaced once for what appeared to be a small stone that just glanced off the windshield. The glass installer informed me that the Cruiser has one of the most fragile and most expensive windshields in the industry.

We've discussed this a number of times here, but it bears repeating--you might want to lower your deductible because of the very real possibility of having to replace a windshield on your Cruiser.

I had massive amounts of rocks whaling on my front end and windshield on the way to CTF3-I counted 12-and there are no chips in the front end and no nicks in the windshield. I musta got the good windshield!!
