I had the windshield replaced thinking it was a one off event. In this second windshield I am up to 3 'stars' and some massive nicks. Wondering if I should bother getting this one replaced or just go til it cracks apart.

I feel your pain! I've already had the windshield replaced once for what appeared to be a small stone that just glanced off the windshield. The glass installer informed me that the Cruiser has one of the most fragile and most expensive windshields in the industry.
We've discussed this a number of times here, but it bears repeating--you might want to lower your deductible because of the very real possibility of having to replace a windshield on your Cruiser.
