There is this stuff at AutoZone Parts Stores that fills little star cracks in wind sheilds. Works Awesome!
You suction cup this suringe type thing over the star. Then you suck out the air with it. Then you put in this liquid glass stuff and push it down. Then let it sit for about 30 mins and then cut the suringe of with a straight edge razor. You almost won't notice that there ever was a star there. I did my ranger's windshield for like 12 bucks and the star was about the size of a US pennie.

Yea, I hate it when this happens. I try not to follow to close either to people and I look out for construction zones on the highways because that HOT fresh blacktop will stick to tires and will be thrown when you are at high speeds. Not a crack on mine Yet.

Maybe I'm just lucky but it sounds like you all are off-roading with your Cruisers!

You're lucky. I had two or three pebbles thrown at me yesterday. I was in a contstruction zone when a dump truck started "cleaning" its tires. Luckily no major damage was done.

See, I'm the lucky one.
