Unhappy Remember my engine noise problem?
Well, for those that remember my mysterious noise problem, Moody Blue is in the shop for the third time! The last time it was there they said the power steering belt had some kind of mysterious black goopy stuff on it. So, they cleaned it and put it back on. The noise came back a few days later. So they went ahead and ordered a brand new power steering belt (which I knew wouldn't solve the problem, but whatever).

They called me a little bit ago to tell me that they found the problem! I have an oil leak! That's why there was black stuff all over the belt last time. So, they'll need it at least another day to find out where the leak is.

I sure hope they find it, fix it, and I have no more problems.

Thanks for the update Speedy, I didnt realize you had stuff on the belt on the first time.

Actually, the stuff was on it the second time, which I didn't make a post about my trip to the service department that time.

Gee...black stuff in an engine component...gosh, that's a toughie...could it be India Ink? Black strap mollases? Maybe real dark blue wiper fluid...? Wait--I've got it! Engine oil! Who'd a'thunk it?



Those dealership service folks appear not to be the brightest bulbs in the gross, sweetie. Hope they fix it right this time.
