A lot tied up in car parts that are so late they might as well not come. Some more money is FedEx delivering my stuff to the wrong zip code and refusing to accept responsibility for their idiocy. Well more than half is the bank sending me a statement showing the balance of money I deposited and then, without spending a single penny, the balance drops to $18.70 and I can't get out $40 for fittings to fix the @#$% suspension.

Tomorrow, I take care of the problems. The bank fixes the balance or heads roll. No more will I do business with FedEx. Whenever my parts come in, I do not order any more. Then, when I have cash to get my fittings, I get extras, plug in the new one, test for leaks at low pressure, seal up around the fittings and wait 24 hours more for it to cure completely. Then, probably sometime Friday afternoon, I test for leaks at full pressure. If there are none, the seats go back in the car, the car gets cleaned and I go to the show in TN Saturday. If leaks are present then, I get REALLY ticked off and, to be honest, I don't know what happens at that point. This is as mad as I've ever been at businesses and people trying to screw me and I'm fairly sure they don't wanna push me further...especially if the individuals involved are capable of being taken to court and possess a mortgage of some kind.

I suppose you still haven't gotten the parts from that supplier we talked about offline, RN. Sorry to hear that. If the fixes don't work, really, maybe you ought to scower the Net to find some help that isn't too awfully far away from you. Hope it does hold. I have a feeling you and Mephisto are gonna part company soon, regardless.

Nevermind that $18.70 balance...it was -$18.70 and they put a hold on my deposits for more than 3 weeks. If they don't clear, my check for car tag bounces. At this point, I don't have the cash to get the parts I need to make the show and the place doesn't take credit. Once I get the hold off my deposits, I'm closing that account and not banking with "Compass" again. No other bank I've ever used has pulled crap like this.

It would be accurate to say I'm fuming or ROYALLY PISSED OFF. Please excuse me if I'm not supposed to post such a thing...I'm really really really mad since the whole world is trying to screw me now. They don't even line up and take turns anymore...

EDIT: Borrowed money from parents, got new fittings (and extras), bled off remaining pressure in system, put in new fitting and slathered sealant all around every single place where hose meets fitting. At noon tomorrow, tape goes on and system testing starts. If it doesn't work then, some higher power has to be finding great amusement in my pain.
