I got all excited when I saw that item on Ebay, also. I figured the same way (Ohio is not that big of a trip). Bummer. I was going to call the guy to see if he was close enough for me to just pick up the seats (I want to fit four matched buckets to my PT and I think I have a solution for using the original rear seat brackets.)

I vote for road trip. One night's motel bill, a few tanks of gas and a few meals is cheaper than losing your Ebay rating or your money that you bid. Maybe stop along the way and see a few PTE folks. That could be one way to turn a bad experience into a good one.

Any PTE folks from Chicago area and/or Wisconsin willing to play hosts?

Be careful with Motel 8 tho. When I was 6 my parents packed up us kids and drove the minivan out to Yellowstone. We stopped in South Dakota at a Motel 6 for the night and got this nice apartment type room. My brother and I poked around our bedroom and found a box of condoms and played with them (we thought they were baloons). Boy were my parents pissed when they saw our discovery. A little later we found a few adult magazines in the desk and my parents just exploded at the hotel manager who came to our room to check on the situation.

Watch out for those hotel rooms.

BTW if you tag team it, you can drive it to chicago in about 10-12 hours. if you drive by yourself, expect to take 4 days staying in detroit and Chicago/Wisconsin.

Dan

That would have been the perfect solution. Only one problem though. I haven't had the chance to pay for them yet. The seller only accepts money orders, not Paypal. I could have paid him right away by Paypal, but if I have to send a money order it'll take about a week for my payment to get to him.
