Default PT Rear sub woofer

Heard Seans over the weekend and it made that lame PT stereo sound really good.

Coupla questions.

1 - How difficult is it to install? I'm not big with electronics and such so I'm kinda leary about ordering it.

2 - Anyone know where to get it for the best price?

Thanks!

install is easy... more mechanical than anything, the electronics are 2 plugs! that's it!

I heard Wyckoff is selling off their 2001 subs.- ?? Search PTE for sub posts...

$319 for a little thing like that!?!

I paid quite a bit more for my 12"s, but they take up the whole trunk... why is it so expensive? It really can't be that loud..is it?

I suppose because it comes with an amp and a new trim panel.

The sub replaces the entire left rear interior panel (the one with the little storage bin)

It's an 8-inch, if memory serves and takes the place of the bin. The opening gets replaced by what looks like a speaker grill in the same shape as the stock panel's opening.

I want one, but it's just not in the cards right now.

I printed Wyckoff's price along with my 5% PT-DIY club discount and took that to my local dealer.
He matched the price and I saved about $40 shipping!
