Talked to the neighbour tonight!! (off-topic)

Washing the PT, buddy (I am going to shoot your dog) walks by, I watch, he doesn't see me, Faith whimpers a bit at their mutt. Buddy yells out, "JUST TRY IT AND I'LL KICK YOU ASS". Hello Jim, I say, we need to talk....

"Did you threaten to shoot my dog?" "did you kick her?" "did you act like a crazed maniac in front of my kids" "why didn't you come see me instead..." ... He denied all at first, he said Faith had Teddy around the neck, something that his Mrs. denies... He said my dog was loose, and Faith is a bully, .. He tells me he kicked her and threw something. I told Buddy to turn around as I will now kick him, he didn't. I also, politely, mentioned that I could EASILY call Mr. Police and tell them all about the shooting threats, it is a VERY serious offence. He tells me to screw off or something like that, turns to walk away, I #### my leg to kick him in the arse (I wasn't going to), he turns with a fist. I still have my bucket and cloth, I tell Jimbo, "try it, you will be hurt real badly before this bucket hits the ground". He stares at me, then starts to walk away mumbling some threats. My other neighbour is there also, telling Jimbo to leave now. My last remark is that he was eal tough infront of the girls.... I feel better.

I figure I will hang around outside as Mr. Police will SURELY come by. Nope, Jimbo comes back, starts to appologize to me for over reacting and such. I MAKE him say sorry to the girls!!! He did NOT like that. Starts the small talk for a few minutes, we shake hands, Lori comes home, all of a sudden, he's gotta go.

Bottom line- no blood spilled, I am STILL miffed and SHOULD call Mr. Police.

I should also mention that his breath smelt like 26 oz of Canadian Club.

I think this prob is solved.....

Good for you Sean!!! You did the right thing. Kicking him would have put you on his level. Shows you've got class.

All right Sean! case closed, he'll probably want to be your best friend now that you've set him straight - the booze probably has a lot to do with his attitude. At least he won't bother you and your children anymore, it's good you made him apologize to the kids. I'd still keep my distance from this jerk....

Excellent!! Sounds like his better half talked some sense to him after he got home! I'd keep an eye on this bozo though. He might get half a load on and start acting obnoxious again.

Glad to hear it ended with a handshake...but the guy still sounds as though he has a screw loose...I'd keep a watchful eye on Faith. Hey, could this be a "Romeo and Juliet" story between Faith and Buddy?
