J, the T-shaped split. So, this means that the piece that started leaking one day was just outright broken? That really sucks...my luck isn't so great. First, the wiring goes, then the seal on the hose... This wouldn't have happened had the guys placed it all under the car like it should have been in the first place...oh well. Guess I gotta do this myself. Thanks for the info.

i have sealed leaks with rtv silicone,
and then let it completely dry, then wrapped it up in duct tape, used that on my air hose for my paint gun and that is over 700 psi,
it was kind of like what you are saying it would only leak when pulled the wrong way so i basicly locked it in one posiont so it wont leak,

That's funny Joe. My dad use to use that stuff to plug a hole in the gas tank. You just can't back over a kids bike.

i used juciy fruit for gas tanks,,
when your 80 miles from home, and need to fix a leak, you will be surprised at what can work,,
sheet metal screws have put many of my leaks to rest.

Tried finding the truck parts place to get new fittings but it seems "truck" stores here are ones that put grill guards on F150's and the like. I can't find ANY custom shop that does this kind of stuff and can't find ANY truck place with the parts...so, time to seal it up as best I can and hope for the best. Having air ride in this town will be a real challenge with absolutely no means of getting help or parts...

a town like florence should have a hydraulics place, a fair sized hardware store, at least one heavy truck dealership or something....

an R/V or boat shop may have what you need...

try this;

EMERGENCY TRUCK & TRAILER REPAIR INC (256) 768-0922
613 THOMPSON ST
FLORENCE, AL 35630

Rob,

Check out this link for Motion Industries.(I don't usually reccomend them since they're my competition but i don't have a branch in the SE).
http://www.motionindustries.com/moti.../mi/motion.jsp
They should be able to help you out.
If not you should be able to locate the closest Parker hose & fittings store from this link.
http://www.parkerstore.com/
There has to be something close by. Unless of course there aren't any trucks, heavy equipment, etc. around.
Keep us posted.

Steve
