Could be mistaken, but I believe that PT was up for sale right after those pictures were posted back in Oct or Nov 2001. Think they are car customizers. Nice work though.

I like the attention to detail on that PT's paintjob, like the front mudflaps being the color of the flames, and the rear flaps staying black to blend in with the darkness of the back. Very nicely done.

Demobilen - en av 900
Mellan varven behöver Bilskräddarna en nackvridande demobil, och vad kan då vara bättre än en PT Cruiser?
- Vi hade en Chrysler Vision tidigare, berättar Stefan Olsson. Till den sydde vi upp en blå skinninredning.
Alltså, skräddarna beställde en PT Cruiser, precis som 900 andra svenskar. Men den här bilen skulle inte se ut som alla andra...

Ny inredning på momangen
Originalklädseln dög när PT Cruisern kördes från handlaren till Bilskräddarnas högkvarter i Motorborgen, men sedan åkte den i soptunnan. Ny klädsel i Elmos bästa skinn syddes snabbt upp.
- Från början var ribborna i dynorna längst ut, menar Stefan. Vi vände på steken och gjorde ribborna innerst istället. Det blir mer rodkänsla då.
Stolar, baksäte och dörrsidor kläddes om innan grannen PM-Shopen byggde riktig ljudanläggning i bilen.

Showlack av Ray Hill
Visa av den tidigare demobilen förstod man att ingen skulle uppmärksamma det förstklassiga inredningsjobbet om bilen inte fick ett elakt yttre. Därför kontaktades showlackaren Ray Hill. Ray jobbar åt Svempa som är en av Bilskräddarnas viktigaste kunder.
- Vi gav Ray fria händer sånär som på att vi inte ville ha några gubbar på bilen, bekräftar Leffe Pettersson.
Självklart struntade Ray i detta och målade en elak gubbe på bilen. Och bra blev det!

Tillvaron stannar upp
Efter en 30 millimeters sänkning och ett set 18-tumsfälgar från TSW såg bilen respektabel ut. Bilskräddarnas Sunset Cruiser blev verkligen en nackvridare. Var man än visar sig stannar tillvaron upp ett ögonblick. Mest tittar de övriga 899 PT Cruiserägarna som helt plötsligt inser att deras egna bilar inte är speciellt unika...
