Default Bumper/mirror paint overspray problem

I took my PT to a body shop located 1 1/2 hrs from me last week to have the bumpers & mirrors painted. They came out real nice but after washing the car today I noticed a problem. The body shop didn't take the bumper covers off to paint them, so I noticed paint overspray on about three quarters of the car; especially the front end & hood; some of the roof & rear hatch. This isn't anything you can see. You only notice it when you rub your hand across the paint. It's not as smooth as it used to be. I tried some swirl remover & wax on it, but it didn't take it away. However the car shines like it did before & you would never know there was some overspray on it.
So my dilema is, can anything be done about this & is it worth pursuing? Should I call the body shop & tell him about it? I'm a little worried that he might do more damage than good to try & fix it. Plus he's 1 1/2 hours away from me & I don't think I can't be without my car for another week. Is there any product I can try myself? Like I said I think I can live with it the way it is because it is not noticable unless you rub you're hand across the paint, but still it is not right. I went to this particualr body shop because I had seen another PT he did & he did a nice job on it (used the flex agent, etc.)
I have an appointment next weekend with Magic Pineapple to get my lake pipes installed, so maybe I should just wait & get his professional opinion.
Or maybe this is my excuse to get those flames I want (Too bad I can't afford them.)

I've never done it personally but I keep hearing how a clay bar can take off overspray and other contaminants and make the car feel smooth as glass. Might want to give it a try.

Clay bar works wonders!! When I got mine back last year they did the same thing - I got the clay bar and went to work - about an hour plus later it was smooth as glass!! Be sure to wax it afterwards!!!

Any advice on which brand clay bar I should buy?

As a side note I noticed there was also some overspray on some of the windows, especially the windshield. I used a product called "AFTA", which can be bought in the carpet section at Home Depot. It took most of it off, but not all of it. But you have to look real hard to see what is left.

I'm sorry to hear about the problems you have had. I used Zaino with great results. Hopefully everything will be worked out.

It does work and is worth a shot. On glass I don't know never needed to get overspray off glass..

Clay Magic(comes in a kit) or Mother's clay bars you can get almost any parts store and be sure to have some spray detailer or a spray bottle of part water part car wash soap as a lube..

Claybars are excellent to take off any overspray, but if the normal claybar doesn't do the job completely, you may have to use a more aggressive claybar, like Claymagic's red claybar or just go back to the body shop and have them clay your car or polish your paint with SMR or a mild polish to remove any overspray.
