Default Warrenty

HELP

My warrenty is about to run out as of the end of May. Has anybody went with a after market warrenty ,if so what company? I was checking with Diamond Gold out of Austen Texas & they have the best price & coverage of all I check. Chrysler was about $500. higher. This is for 7 years 70,000 miles.

Hello there and welcome to the forums! I hope you enjoy your time here. This has been discussed many times. I think you should spend a little extra money and go with the Chrysler plan. With a third party plan, you are often stuck with non OEM parts that are often rebuilt or reconditioned. You will also have problems with the company arguing over claims. With the Chrysler program, you go to the dealer, they fix it with OEM parts, no hassles. Make sure that you shop around for the best deal. I spent 1300 on my plan, but I received quotes as high as 2200 for the same coverage.

Best of luck and keep us informed!

Dan

I fully agree. The Chrysler extended warranty is the best way to go. I have a different one on a Chrysler van and it doesn't cover many things that the Chrysler bumper to bumper warranty covers. I've spent more than the difference in the two warranties on repairs that the Chrysler warranty would have covered.

Take it from someone who spent allot of time working with aftermarket warranty companies DON'T buy ANYTHING but a Chrysler plan. Most aftermarket companies don't last for the length of the contract they sell you. The only way you can be sure you will get the protection you're paying for is to buy the factory plan.
