Great tip, but I don't have a heat gun. Anybody know if these things could be heated in the microwave to make them pliable?
(I'm being serious for once!).

No Microwave. Microwaves require moisture.

maybe a strong hot hair dryer. I got a heat gun at ACE for 6.99
