I'm on the panel bandwagon too even though the side door is very convenient for loading a 13 year old greyhound. I guess I need two.

The California Cruiser is cool.

But I'd fall for the Panel Cruiser

I would say no it will not. Way too much change for DC III which I think will be a convert anyway. But it may hint at the 2nd gen Cruiser.
I read on the Rapid Craft site that there will be some major changes.

Anyway, I wonder if it's just a local dealership thing ( say, like a Ron Jon), or if it's statewide. I've only seen the 2 & have no clue what , other than the tail lights, makes them a CA Cruiser.
As for the concept CA Cruiser.....I'd take a pass. BUT! I'd take a panel in a hot second!!!!
I have seen the type of PT you saw Rachel, other than the rear decal and the lights I have not seen any difference.. The ones I have seen were not flamed but were the Chrysler California Cruiser..

I think it is just really expensive decal and tailights...

But Come on D.C. bring out that panel!!!! Please with sugar on it...

Marc, that California Cruiser is fugly, front and back.

Now, imagine DC builds the panel Cruiser and--get this--makes it a four-door (but two-seater) with the rear door windows "deleted" and has the rear doors open as "suicide" doors.

Cool? Would you buy it?

Who's knows for sure what's on the PT map for the future? The California Cruiser just may be the next generation PT in plain site. The California Cruiser is a 2-door hatchback-like car, which may add more storage space/volume. As limited as the rear vision in the PT is now, a PT panel variant minus the rear windows, would need larger mirrors to aid in seeing side traffic and help in parking maneuvers. I would hazard a guess that like Viper owners, the styling of the next generation PT may cause a lot of controversy among current PT owners and fans, even if a more powerful engine was offered.

Did you ever touch or see this Cruiser in Person Joe?
I would say you haven't.
I thought it was too square when I ONLY saw pictures of it.
Then, I saw it in person and it changed my mind.

See the Convertible nxt to it? Do you like the Convertible?
Well guess what Joe. There were More people looking at the Cali Cruiser than there was looking at the Convertible........

To each their own as the saying goes.
What may be fugly for some, is BEAUTIFUL to others

Sure the Panel would be Great if DC can introduce it, but so is this Cali Cruiser
