I'm thinking about a Ghost flame job, mainly because I like the gold and don't to detrack from the Inca Gold Paint.

The painter that want to use is quite busy paint 2 funny cars right now for racing season but should be ready to paint my Cruiser shortly

If you have a good painter that is the best way to go. Lesser chance of damage from chipping or peeling.

Mike,

If you decide to go with the vinyl flames, I can highly recommend Rich's at StreamlinDesign. Mine are holding up very well and I think they look great. He's got solid colors, two-tones, and color changing designs and you can try them out on various colored cruisers using his flame picker. Even if you decide to have 'em painted, you can still try the different style and color combinations first.

I would have to say go with the painted flames instead of the vinyl flames... and ghost flames are the coolest.

I went with shade shifting vinyl flames cause the shade shifting paint was kinda expensive. Streamline has some great flames. Recently found www.flameit.com. They also sell vinyl flames. No idea if they are as good as Rich's though.

I have to agree, there is no one better than Rich. He is good and has fantastic stuff!!!

There is OBVIOUSLY no choice if you're wavering! I'm guessing you've checked out paint prices? If you can afford it, OF COURSE paint!
Mine, as a matter of fact, is getting a shade shifting, tribal flame paint job as we speak!

Boy, I dunno. I'm usually all in favor of flames but the Dream Cruiser is such a major mod (and a cool mod) in itself, I really think it should remain as is. It is truly distinctive and it will be collectible one of these days.
