I'm leaning towards JOEM's remarks: painting makes it permanent BUT on a DreamerCruiser?

Whatever, I have done on mine is "easily" reversable to original status. Just a thought!

I like the painted ghost flames, but if cost is an issue then I have seen some very good vinyl flames.

I just got my vinyl ghost flames from http://www.hotrodworks.net/decal/ptcruz.html# over the weekend. I think they are going to look really good on my red PT, and if they don't I just remove them.

Cal Cruzer, I hope you can post some pics of your ghost flames after you get them. I'm considering some of them also for my almond PT.

I will try to get to them this weekend if it doesn't rain. My neighbor has a digi camera that I can borrow and I will post.

Like every one else has said:

Two things to consider
1. Paint and the $ to do them
2. If you want a change: A. Painted you have to do a complete strip of what was on there and start over
B. Vinyl you warm up and peel off and on with the new. Vinyl will not allow the paint under it fade as will the rest of your car, so there may be a slight color difference with the paint.

ALWAYS PROS & CONS to it all.

Vinyl places: Rich one of the best, and now another place called SPEED GRAPHICS HERE Very Very GOOD, So DAM GOOD that his cars are featured in the FAST & THE FURIOUS/FAST & THE FURIOUS II.

Check him out.
