Default Where did you put your CD Changer

I had my Sony 10 CD changer pulled from my old car and was wondering where to have placed so won't be battered by bags and other stuff in the cargo area. Being new, I presume it is not called a "trunk." <bg>

I have a 12 CD changer mounted under the driver's seat. It works great under there and does not get banged around. In order to mount properly, you will need to take out the seat. The wiring for the heated seat (if you have it) unplugs from a socket thing. If you need help doing this, I can have my husband write and tell you what he did.

Under the driver's seat, also.

I have pictures:

I have since replaced the head unit with a Kenwood because of problems I was having with the CD changer interface adapter and the factory stereo.

I have my amps under both seats, so I chose to put my Alpine 6 disc changer in the cubby hole in the back where the Chrsler sub would go. I have my sum in a removable box so I can haul the drum kit
