Question PT Racing Stripes

Nalski, you're stripes are rad! Where'd you get them? I want to put White 'Viper style' stripes on my Blues Cruise!

Did you install them yourself?

I'm concerned that if I install them myself, that they'll start to peel after a while...

Was at a car show a few months back and saw a new electric blue turbo with white Viper stripes and white 18 inch wheels. Looked sharp. I talked to the owner who just got it that week. The dealer did all the work and it was on the showroom floor when he bought it. This was in Winston-Salem NC.

Paint better than vinyl but if it's just to see how it looks, vinyl works too... A huge strip of vinyl might be tough to put on alone without getting bubbles or just messing it up.

Hi there

I'm Nalski's fiancee and love our car too!

The stripes were a big move and we decided to go for vinyl rather than paint incase we just didn't like them!

The guy who did our tints did them and used a template to do the grill. He found the hardest part to do was the Xenon air dam

The stripes seem to be weathering pretty well (daily driver - 37000 miles in 15 months and no garage)

here's a nice close up pic 4u to see...Nal will be along later to say hi too and give him comments

And after all this time I thought they were painted on.......
Wow. The guy who installed them did a great job.

Sorry I'm a bit late on this one, been busy with work and then ill for a coupla days.

Glad you like the stripes ptgtjoe! They guy who did ours (and our window tints) did an incredible job, although he nearly had a heart attack when we said "of course, we want the front grille done too!".

There is not a single crease of bubble in any part of the vinyl. It's the nearest I'll probably ever get to owning the (other) car of my dreams, Dodge Viper!

Please post a few pics of your PT as and when you get it done!
