Default tire blowout... be careful everyone...

hey everyone.. sorry havent posted for a bit...
on saturday i was cruising down the local route when my rear passenger tire blew... the car swerved pretty violently, but i got off to the side of the road w/out hitting anyone.. The tire was completely shredded... i'm pretty sure i didnt hit anything... I'm bringing the tire back to the dealer today as the new one cost me $120... the rim survived without damage and i learned the jacking points on the cruiser... but I just wanted to let everyone know to take a quick peak at their tires for any obnormal wear..
Thanx
Sean

Any idea what caused the blowout? Was it the tire or those crappy Pennsylvania roads?

Glad you and your PT are OK!
Had my tires checked by a Goodyear Dealer . They can tell by the serial # where they are made and if any problems have been reported. My LS were made in the Tennessee plant...no problems here.
