Default This is too funny.......

I was listening to one of our local radio stations and the talk show host was reading a commercial about the new Toyota Camry and this is paraphrasing what he said................

When Toyota redesigned the Camry they had to make sure that they were going to do it right.

And boy did they ever, this new Camry is absolutely the hotest car around.

You won't have to wait for months and months to get it like some new cars, Oh no, you can go to Blank- Blank Toyota dealership and find 4 cars of different colors on the showroom floor and eight more on the lot.

So you can drive it home right away!.

doh!

Well mister talk show host Two questions, Where are the lines of customers waiting to pick up their new Camry's, huh?

And if there so hot how come the dealer has 12 cars to sell?

That is funny !!!! Although the Camary is not a bad car -- it is in no way close to the KEWLNESS of a PT !!!

Wow, what a coincidence! That's one of the other cars that I was going to get instead of the Ford Focus, the Mercury Tracer or the PT Cruiser....NOT!!!!!!!!

Problem is, there's probably some yokel who will run out and snag one before all the Baldwin Brothers snatch them up!

Now be nice to the Talk Show Host. It is not his word but the words that were written down for him to say. He has to say it so he can get paid. Who knows, he may even have a PTC that he drives around. To turn the tables, wouldn't you read an Ad about an AssPick if you were paid to do so?

(reason is that I've been there and done that in radio...)

Gee, I though Toyota Crummys only came in two colors, white and dishwater-metallic. Guess which two colors I specifically avoided when buying my PT, although the second one wasn't available til this year. Please don't flame me for that, but you gotta admit there is a whole lot of white and beige Crummys/Honkas/Dyslexus/and other clones out there.

I tried very hard to convince my mom to buy a PT, it'd be kinda cool to have 2 in the family. But never the less, she bought a 2001 Camry (beige). She lived through the war and thought the PTs looked too much like the cars she remembered as a child. But she is starting to warm up to SLIK..... But now, she has the Camry and judging from the length of time she had her 1986 Reliant, she won't be looking for a new car soon.....
