Maybe we are missing something... like all the links and stuff. There is no web page with all the links like there used to be. Nothing, NADA, ZILCH, Zero, Kaput, VOID....

NOW WAIT A MINUTE!!! When I clicked on the link 15 minutes ago, it was up and working (hence my previous post). I saw the ads on the left, the links on the right and everything! THAT'S WEIRD!!!

Maybe you have the page cached on your hard drive. If you are using Internet Explorer and checked the box to make available offline when you added it to your favorites, the page would appear as normal and the links would work properly too.

Go back to the site and then refresh your screen (or clear your cache and go back to the site).

Here is what is posted on the site at this time.

" Please read:
As you all know, we've been collecting and organizing links to PT Cruiser related websites for the past year now. We do this because we like to make web surfing a lot easier for us all. We enjoy updating this site and forming friendships with PT fans around the world.

Why are the links down?
Recently the Pennsylvania PTCC State Director, Lane Schaab, has stolen the code that makes the Links possible. Yes that's right, he hacked into our HTML, took our code, and is using it on his website. He has done this without asking us. We worked very hard to organize all the links that you've found and sent in for the past year.

What can you do to help?
I ask each of you to write to Lane. Tell him what you think of his actions. He is the reason the links are no longer here. He stole our links without asking. If enough people write to him, he'll remove the stolen code from his website. Then we'll have our links back.

Email him!
You can write to Lane at
lrs71@rcn.com

or use this form which will send your thoughts directly to his email box. "

You should go to the actual site and send your comments, this is some bad stuff to be happening !

How does one "steal links" from a website? This doesn't make sense at all.

Someone can copy them, or if one has access to your website he can delete them. What happened?

I've posted a link to the cached version of the front page. Just copy the relevant stuff and voila! They are back. Lemme know if you need help doing this. Unless it's more fun to complain...

How ironic, when viewing the cached version, under the "Latest Links" heading, the first entry is:
New Pennsylvania PTCC Chapter...a brand new site with a brand new director.
