Since he did the work it is copyrighted under US and international copyright law. Copying it and putting it on another web site is theft.
Does that mean that all the work I have put into my site is copyrighted ?
I am not sure, thought it had to be registered with someone or somewhere....

copyright is created when the work is published...no forms are necessary--forms are used to buttress claims of publication/use/copyright

Art is correct.

The copyright takes effect immediately upon publication of the web site.
It is always a good idea to include a note in the footer pertaining to the site being copyrighted and that any reuse must be requested in writing prior to doing so.
Web sites are considered to be "Intellectual Property" and the courts have ruled on violations such as this.
The creator of the code/site only loses his or her sole right to the property when a fee is paid for the creation.

The page is still there with the links. You just need to go to the bottom of the page and in small print it say "enter PTCruiserLinks". That will take you to the links

I'm speechless! I can't believe someone would stoop so low. Jodi, I hope you can straighten things out. You have worked so hard on a great site! I'm in your corner.

Everything has been resolved now, Jody posted a message on the PTCC and thanked PTCCmike for his efforts in resolving the problem.

Glad to hear that things have been straightened out as I think you have done a great job Jody and your links have proved to be my source for one stop shopping.

I sincerely hope all is resolved. Jody has put tons of effort, time, and creativity into the Links, and has made an extra effort to make it accessible to webtv users. I rely on it for current info about accessories and more!!!
A while back I had a private email from Lane, the gist of my response being, you don't belong at PTE, your attitude and negativity have no place here. He was quite rude and insolent and has absolutely NO manners. I hope he is gone back into his own little world and stays out of PTE.
