Dan -- I would vote for sometime after school is out; but well before it gets hot. We are supposed to go to Washington, D.C., for the 4th of July; my wife is in a dance group that is going to perform as part of the official birthday bash.
Maybe early-to-mid June? |

Hey Dan - thanks for posting this survey - Many do not know what actual wonders are here in Dakota, the chance to experience the best we have to offer in first class style, thru the windshield of a Cruiser. This will not be your average "car show/meet and greet" we are offering you a guided tour of this wonderful area with great activities and alot of flavor. Hope to see a renewed interest from all you Enthusiasists -
We are cruisin to the Hills next week - Can't get enough of Paha Sapa. Chris w/Silvia the BEACHPT |

How far is that from Ohio? Don't know if I can convince the wife to drive that far. I don't know how many people would go to both South Dakota and Niagara Falls, but just in case, you better not make it too close to the end of June.

I just wanted to say, it's beautiful in the state of South Dakota with lots to see. I'm sure the cruise would be loads of fun. Especially a "guided" tour! The last time I was at Mt. Rushmore construction was just beginning on Crazy Horse. We were driving a full size van. After the evening program at Mt. Rushmore we drove away going north on a narrow two lane road (back in the woods somewhere) with a motorcycle right behind us which really wanted to go faster. Since we weren't very familiar with the road, we weren't driving very fast. From our left came a HUGE hulk of an animal lumbering across the road in front of us. From the front windows of the large van, my sister and I looked [4]UP[/4] into one eye as this huge animal crossed the road. You guessed it...one of the largest buffaloes I have ever seen. Wish it had been a white buffalo. It all seemed like a dream and the guy on the motorcycle never knew what happened or that we might have saved his life by being in front of him.
You won't see one of those beautiful animals on a "cruise" down I-40! I suggest anyone that can possibly go, do so. I'll be keeping an eye on the planning. If possible, would love to cruise with you. Niagara Falls 2002 has my full attention, but if the dates are right, might work in another cruise. ![]() |
