I'm just glad you weren't hurt and that your baby can be fixed. I can't imagine being without my car for days. It looks terrible in the pictures, but also like it handled the impact pretty well. Good Luck!

Hi Tinkerbell,

Wow that is quite a hit in the rear! I hope you get it back soon. When you go to pick it up, make sure the rear bumper fits correctly.

See this thread on the other site: http://www.ptcruiserclub.org/ubb/Forum1/HTML/009263.html

I would hate to see you run into these problems.

So is mine since Jan 22. I hit a curb with the air dam under the bumper and to make a long story short, some sensor didn't work, car overheated and now I should pick it up with a new motor, radiator, and front bumper next week. I was soooo upset. I miss it terribly.
OH MY GOSH!!! How terrible! I know exactly how you feel! It's like a sick little joke, you wait for ever for this car, you finally get it ( oh joy!!) you fall in love with it, then a cruel twist of fate takes it away!!! .................................................. .................................................( a moment of silence please ) WHEW that's better! Hang in there and keep us updated!

Thank you , and YES!!! The chick that hit me was in a Honda CRV, and her vehicle had MUCH more damage than my PT! And she hit me so hard that it knocked my seat up 2 notches!! A couple of folks that stopped to look were impressed at the way it held up! Could have been a lot worse I think!
